The SPEEDWATCH is a further development of the well known forerunning swiss made products Speedwatch IS and Speedwatch ES the precision has been improved and the new SPEEDWATCH is especially attractive for surfers, kiters and anyone, who wants to have a waterproof log with a free movably Display unit.

The SPEEDWATCH display unit computes the recieved data to the important readings.The SPEEDWATCH display unit with its big letters supports a good overview and could be read at a glance even when in action. Especially for night navigation issues the backlight has the color red. The integrated Countdown timer, automatic and manual chronometer and the clock are features, that makes it perfect for regatta and practicing issues.

SPEEDWATCH - Radio-Transmitter

Place SPEEDWATCH Radio-Transmitter near the Impeller. For boats recommended inside the hull, for surfboards recommended at the topback of the board. The SPEEDWATCH Radio-Transmitter recieves the magnetic impulses of the rotating impeller and sends them to the display unit. The display unit is free moveably and recieves the signal in a 5 m circle around the sender. It is also possible to use several display unit with one sender.

The SPEEDWATCH impeller will be mounted without drilling outside the hull or at the fin of a surfboard. Herefore the corresponding adapter as the boatfin or the T-holder with mounting material are already in the scope of delivery.

SPEEDWATCH - Mounting support:

Also in the scope of delivery is the quick release mounting support, which could be used for fixed mounting on deck by screws or in combination with the velcro strap for to carry the display attached to leg or arm. This combination works also fine for temporary fixing the display unit to the mast or rail for example. For the beware of lifters the mounting support provides a quick release of the display unit. This quick release feature is constructed to surely beware the display unit of accidential release.

SPEEDWATCH - Compatible to all Forerunners:

The display unit can be calibrated to nearly every kind of existing detectors paddles. So a possible interaction with any type of speed controller (JDC propeller blade or sensor) as well as the forerunning models Speedwatch IS and ES.
